I LOVE synchronicity. In my world, there are no coincidences. I think Spirit uses signs and synchronicities to show us that a higher power is always there to guide us and support us. Sometimes we need to be reminded that this is true.
Pick Up the Amethyst
The other day, I was preparing for a client's reading. With a selenite heart in my hand, I closed my eyes and started praying. I heard "pick up the amethyst instead" so that's what I did. At the same time, I was listening to music on my headset and wasn't into the song that was playing. I tapped the arrow to move on to the next one. Yay, a good song! I looked on my phone to see what it was called and the name of the song was "Amethystium: Garden of Sakuntala." Later, I told the client what happened before her reading and she said, "I know why you picked up the amethyst - it's my birthstone!" Spirit never lets me down.
Interesting Times at Trader Joe's
My husband and I went to Trader Joe's to pick up a few things. We were getting ready to check out when I realized I needed one more thing. I said to my husband, "I need hamburger meat and then we can pay." We walked over to the back wall of the store stocked full of fish, poultry, meat, etc. As we turned the corner to this aisle, I saw a package of something "fly" off the shelf and land on the floor. Sure enough, it was hamburger meat, 85% lean, exactly what I wanted. A worker at Trader Joe's watched me pick it up and put it in my basket. I saw the look on her face. She must have thought, "What is wrong with this person? Who picks up whatever is on the floor and buys it?" So I explained that I needed hamburger meat and since that was what fell off the shelf, I might as well take that one. She looked at me and said slowly, "Wooowwww, you are magical!" Witnessing the presence of Spirit is what's really magical.
Okay, This Happens to Me a Lot
I was watching a movie on television when one of my daughters called. I hit pause. We chatted for a while and in the middle of the conversation, my daughter was trying to explain something to me but couldn't find the words. She said, "You know, like in that movie with the MINI Coopers..." You guessed it, the movie I could see right in front of me, the one I had just put on pause, was, of course, The Italian Job.
It Starts with Awareness
Spirit wants to show us that our angels are with us while doing everyday, small things. There are so many ways this can happen: seeing repeating numbers like 11:11 on the clock every day, timely license plate words, symbols that are special to you like butterflies, feathers or red cardinals, running into someone you were just thinking about... whatever is meaningful to you, that's how Spirit will communicate with you.
Divine Guidance
Synchronicities help us connect with our higher source/higher power. They help us know we're on the right path. Trust your own intuition and trust Spirit by doing things that quiet the mind like prayer, meditation, nature walks, etc. Take time to go within. Remember that even when we're not thinking about Spirit, Spirit is thinking about us and trying to connect. Meet Spirit halfway! Do your part by being aware, seeing the signs, and making that connection to Source.
